How do I reach Customer Service?

Are Cottage Textiles products damaged or defective?
No. Cottage Textiles fabrics and wallcoverings are never damaged or defective. These products are retired from production, and no longer are distributed through the trade. Therefore, they are offered at special prices to all design enthusiasts.
What should I know about the fabric or wallcovering I order?
Please be aware that textiles have natural characteristics that are not considered defects. Returns will not be accepted for the following reasons: color or dye lot variations, broken threads, slubs or knots, dark flecks, or hairs in natural fibers such as wool, mohair, cashmere, silk, linen, or cotton. Fabrics used as draperies cannot be guaranteed free of flaws when held against the light. Fabric, dyed or natural, can not be guaranteed against fading. Natural fibers absorb and release moisture; a change of 2% to 3% is reasonable. Certain handmade products are by nature irregular and side matching may not be exact.
Cottage Textiles fabrics are for residential use only and are not treated with a flame retardant coating.
Wallcoverings are sold in single, double, or triple rolls. The rolls on the website are from the same dye lot, however, color design and repeat may vary and are inherent characteristics. Side match may not be exact.
How do I care for my fabric or wallcovering?
Please consult with a professional regarding the care and cleaning of fabrics. Please note that washing fabrics may cause shrinkage, affect the dyes, and may impact the finish, changing the hand and appearance of the fabric.
Please consult a professional regarding the care and cleaning of wallcoverings. As with other surfaces, wallcoverings benefit from cleaning that remove dust and allergens.
Do you offer trade accounts?
No, we do not offer trade accounts. Cottage Textiles fabrics already are marked down from their retail prices.
Do you provide project measurements?
Cottage Textiles does not provide measurements for a project. We suggest consulting a professional for your project needs.
Do you offer samples?
Yes. You may order a sample of any fabric or wallcovering by selecting "Sample" instead of "Yard" or "Roll." Samples ship free within the US. Please note returned samples are not eligible for a refund. Samples do not act as a CFA, and may be from a different dye lot than the available yardage.
Do you offer reserves or CFAs?
Reserves and CFAs (Cuttings for Approval) are not offered.
Will you be getting more stock of an existing fabric or wallcovering already on the website?
No. Our fabrics and wallcoverings are discontinued, and no more will become available. You may check the current stock on any product page.
Do you add new fabrics and wallpapers to the website?
Yes, periodically we add new fabrics and wallcoverings to the website. Please continue to check back for more information or create an account to be advised when new products are added to the website.
How do I view available yardage or rolls?
On any product page, select "Yard" or "Roll" and select your desired color. The available stock will populate.

What is the minimum order?
Fabrics are sold in one-yard increments with a one-yard minimum per item ordered. 1 = 1 yard, etc.
Wallcoverings are sold by the roll with a one-roll minimum per item ordered. 1 = 1 roll, etc. Please note that some wallcoverings only are sold in double or triple rolls and can not be separated.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cottage Textiles accepts American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover credit cards. We do not accept cash, checks or money orders.
How do I cancel an order?
If an order is cancelled before the fabric is cut, there will be a full refund. If your order has been processed and the fabric cut, there will be no cancellations or refunds. Wallcoverings are sold in rolls and if the order has been processed, there will be no cancellations or refunds. To cancel your order, email info@cottagetextiles.com or call 785-434-6381. Customer service is available Monday through Thursday from 10am–3pm and Friday 10am–1pm CST. Please allow one business day for a response.
Can I return or exchange my order?
Cottage Textiles does not accept returns or exchanges.
What if my item is damaged?
If your shipment is damaged in transit, please contact the shipping carrier regarding a claim. Take photographs of the packaging and any damaged area(s) and note your order information to assist with filing your claim.
Are all sales final?
All sales are final at Cottage Textiles.
Shipping
How long does shipping take?
After an order has been processed and payment received, Cottage Textiles will work to have your order arrive within a 3–7 business day period. Please allow 1–2 business days for an item(s) to leave the warehouse.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If we are out of stock or there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
We partner with Shop Promise to estimate accurate delivery dates. Certain orders may be eligible for refunded shipping costs, in the form of Shop Cash, if they do not arrive on time. Check details and eligibility here.
What does shipping cost?
Fabric and wallcoverings are shipped via UPS Ground or Fedex, and your shipping cost is calculated based on your location. Orders over $100 within the contiguous United States are shipped free.
If the total yardage of your order is 2 yards or less, fabrics will ship folded.
If the total yardage of your order is more than 2 yards, fabrics will ship on a roll.
All wallcoverings are shipped on a roll. All velvets are shipped on a roll in a suspended box.
Fabric and wallcovering samples are shipped free via USPS within the US.
How do I track my order?
You will receive a shipment confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s).
Please note, fabric and wallcovering samples do not include tracking information.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, we only ship within the United States.
